After a number of decades sailing and competing in dinghy classes, large cruising yachts and, more recently, international classes of radio controlled yachts, Rodney’s involvement in yachting class associations and sailing club management often resulted in frustration trying to locate or have made suitable and appropriate awards and trophies for individual events and competitions
SAILPRIZES carries no stock as each order is made specifically for the class of yacht and event. Rather than steak knives, cups, and engraved acrylic blocks, SailPrizes trophies are completely relevant to the class being sailed with accurate scale sail plans and engraved images of the yacht class.
SAILPRIZES was commenced as a business several years ago with the objective of supplying handcrafted and affordable awards and trophies to clubs and yacht class associations in Australia and overseas.
SAILPRIZES produces trophies for radio controlled sailing classes in a range of standard or custom sizes where the trophy finishes and engraving is specific to the club, event, and class of yacht.
SAILPRIZES also produces perpetual trophies for clubs and classes and these are strictly ‘one-off’ – custom made to requirements.
